What is a PDU?
A PDU is a Professional Development Unit and a key term in the PMI® community. One hour of planned, structured, and measured learning activities equals one PDU. PDUs are hours of training required to maintain a PMI® certification, including: CAPM® , PMP® , and PgMP® . When taking online training to get the PMP® , earn the PDUs for PMP® continuing education or any other purpose, your total learning time in an online course closely approximates the hours awarded.
